Josh Ulm is an accomplished user experience design professional with 15+ years experience in visual and interaction design, multi-screen software development, and rich-media production.
Throughout his career he has been setting executive product experience strategies and building and leading world-class design teams to execute them; most recently for Vodafone and for Adobe before that.
Josh has created award-winning work for numerous clients including Microsoft, Samsung, and Sony. He has been personally profiled by Wired magazine and his work has appeared in Communications Arts several times; he presents frequently at industry events and conferences; and he’s contributed to numerous books on interactive, web and mobile design.
In 2001 he founded ioResearch Studios, Inc., an interactive production studio based in Marin County, CA. The studio fostered a broad client base, focusing on work for museum and cultural institutions as well as technology leaders.
Early on, Josh gained international recognition for his pioneering work establishing The Remedi Project – a first of it’s kind, award-winning, online gallery for interactive art.
